Social Media

Handing someone a saw, hammer and nails doesn’t make them a great carpenter. The same concept applies with social media. Just giving someone control of your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts doesn’t ensure great business results.

You need to create valuable content to rise above all the background noise. You also need to match your content to the right target audiences. This means understanding how to “go native” on each social media platform and engaging in the right way. You wouldn’t run a static billboard graphic as a TV advert. So why would you post a static Twitter picture on Facebook when you could use micro-videos?

The principles of great marketing haven’t changed. However the integration of commerce, marketing and social media have changed the way you need to execute in order to get engaged followers and ultimately more customers.
